opps I should have respond sooner, well here are some things to expect when you update today:
the bad:
1. prepare to be underwhelmed, yes I said it, although everything is pretty and netflix and xbox live parties (this is going to be my favorite, not yet considering i had no time to test it), the interface can get some getting used to.
2. avatars are kinda fruity, i mean this has happend twice, when apple released the genius feature the zune guys were all like "no you didn't we made that a year ago hax0rs" and then with nintendo wii's there like we had this in development for 3 years you mofos! ya right, it's imitation of something that is already stupid, but the good thing is that they are not intrusive like sticking their dicks into your face or anything.
3. theyu got rid of the section that lets you select play DISK/Game name, you have to go to my xbox and then click twice to get to the right menu inorder to play a game, that is stupidly annoying.
4. they got rid of my bleeps and bloops! now they are higher pitched and slightly annoying.
the good:
1. pretty
2. xbox live parties
3. netflix
4. fluid
5. burping avatars (need better name like home boy or something FOCUS GROUUUPS!!!! CHOP CHOP!)
6. hard drive installs, but you need a 120gig, damn you microsoft for making splurdge again! but performance ranges depending of the game ie: mass effect increases performance but the elevators are still slow as your mother.
i guess thats it, you will find out these things for yourself soon... as in today
Blog Response: You Haz NXE TWO! Posted: 2 months ago Good call. I HATE the sound effects on the dashboard now! Still love the party system and the game installs though. The interface is different, but better. Click here to see the blog --------------------------------- 'I wanna get my knees dirty.' -- Gunnz, Netcast 37
Posted: 2 months ago I think you mean 12gig for a HD install, although this is still to much. I suppose it helps MS sell bigger hard disks tho--------------------------------- There is more to life...
Posted: 2 months ago nope, i mean a 120gig because these installs take allot of space, think xbox origionals, I can only have 1 game installed at a time, right now I have gow2 installed and only 1.5gig free. a 120gig will provide allot more headroom. OXM says that they are probably going to release a 250gig hdd sometime next summer or next fall |
